Hi @samuelclay, please assist when you can.

What’s your username, I can see why it’s failing and kick off an email with your opml in it.

Thank you, it’s readerman_nb.

@samuelclay Still seeing 502

Please update when you can, @samuelclay

Please update, @samuelclay.
I’m still unable to export my feeds.

Ok, I’ve sent it manually. Sorry that took so long. I should build a way to have that opml export resort to a background task if it takes too long or there are too many feeds. You have more feeds than most users, so I’ve never had to deal with an opml export taking longer than 30 seconds.

Thank you, appreciate it.
Please let us know whenever you’ve have the time to set this up (background task).
A post on X from yourself or the newsblur account would do :slight_smile:

You know, claude code could knock that out in seconds, since we already have most of the functionality. Let me try that…

Thanks for the nudge. This is now deployed. Clearly a very good idea, so thanks for that, but also I feel bad that it took you a month to get me to do the right thing. So super thanks for your persistence.

And here’s the commit:

I’m totally fine however long it took (even a couple of months, sure), as long as there’s an initial ACK :slight_smile:
Thank you!

EDIT: Hmm… just tried and it 502’d.

I’m getting the same error when attempting to export OPML file (“502 · NewsBlur is down. Please wait patiently until NewsBlur comes back. newsblur on Twitter may have more information.”) about 10 seconds after clicking “Download OPML” in Preferences. @samuelclay can you please send mine as well? Username is @tinyapps . Thank you. P.S. Had to remove the at symbol from “newsblur” in the error message before posting due to “An error occurred: Sorry, new users can only mention 2 users in a post.”
