Can you return things like the channeel dewcription, the channel logo, maybe the @name if they use one?

Where would you like to see this? Repeat it on every story? I don’t understand how that would help. We already have the channel logo in the favicon of the feed, and then the channel description is technically in the YouTube feed. You just don’t really have access to it as much as you don’t have access to any RSS feeds description other than when you add it.
Interesting, I was looking for the favicon specifically and wasnt seeing it, though I did notice it appears when I open the feed in the app so I wasn’t clear how I wasnt seeing it in the api return. I’ll use the favicon, thx.

These sites were all added using the native NewsBlur YouTube add feature, not via manual URL or anything like that. Windows Chrome browser.
Fantastic idea, favicons are now extracted for YouTube feeds automatically. It’ll hit all of your feeds within the next 12-24 hours, or you can insta-fetch for instant new favicons. Let me know if they aren’t automatically updated in the next day.

These are updating for me on insta-fetch but don’t seem to persist after refreshing the page

Ok I made a change and now it should stick and automatically update the favicon. Deploying now…
