WP7 App

Hi there,
do you plan release a app for windows phone? That will be nice.

Cheers

I’ve started on an open source WP7 client called Gaussian Post (https://github.com/MahApps/GaussianPost)), but I don’t have time to finish it by myself.

If others are interested in helping me develop it, let me know.

Just FYI, that URL is picking up the closing bracket on the end - https://github.com/MahApps/GaussianPost should work better (just in case anyone was confused) :slight_smile:

A passionate NewsBlur user, Romit Mehta, has graciously pinged the developer of Nextgen Reader on Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/theromit/statu…. They showed some interest, but I think if a few of you tweet at @ngreader you might find that it helps tip the scales in favor of getting a Nextgen NewsBlur app for WP7. Here’s the twitter account: https://twitter.com/#!/ngreader

Hi, thanks for the info. But at ngreader is nothing planned for a WP App.

@Paul Jenkins:
Do you have any updates on your WP7 app? I watch the Github repo, but development seems stalled (I’d like to help, but my studies are too demanding right now).
Last question: What’s currently the deployment strategy? Building in VS and using my phone as a debugging device, or compilling and opening my phone using https://labs.chevronwp7.com/ (or ‘jailbreaking’)?

No updates, as I said I don’t have time to do it by myself.

As far as I’m aware, Chevron labs no longer sell tokens so you can unlock your phone.

Also, another developer I know on twitter, Leon Zandman, was desperate to get some apps done before June and I pointed him to Paul Jenkins and Gaussian Post. Not heard back from him yet :frowning:

Ping him at: https://twitter.com/#!/leonzandman
