I like to view one continuous feed that I can scroll through for a site. However, many sites have poor feeds, requiring the use of «text view». However, text view takes a bit to load, and it’s not a continuous feed. I’d like to be able to activate “always text feed” on a feed, with the result that the contents of the feed, when displayed in newsblur, gets replaced by the content that would have been displayed in «text view». A subscriber-only feature, perhaps? To avoid it generating unreasonable loads.

So you essentially want to have the infinite scroll of the Feed view, but for Text view. The reason that doesn’t happen is that it would be a huuuuuuge load and requires an enormous effort to support, since it would break the existing Feed view. It can be built, but I don’t know if it’s worth the cost. Do people really want this?
It’d be useful to me at least, though only for a few feeds. Right now I sometimes use http://fulltextrssfeed.com/ for this, but the trouble is that the resulting feed does not include the tags that the original feed has, and as a result it breaks newsblur intelligence training.
