Windows desktop app

Hi , hope windows can get some love too especially that it’s the most used desktop os , thanks

I honestly think this is unlikely to happen. The web is a great platform to use, and the Android and iOS apps are wonderful. The only reason we have a Mac app is because it’s a Catalyst version of the iPad app, so it costs very little to build and maintain.

fair point , web app is good but sadly it has to be always open to receive notifications

hmm, a specialized app just for notifications might do the trick. I’ll noodle on that. Notifications are a big part of the appeal of newsblur.

Shame to hear a Windows app would be a pain to maintain! I’d love to have Newsblur running on my PC rather than in-browser.

There is a 3rd pary app called winblur that I use. It works okay. You can find it in the microsoft store on windows 10 and 11.
