The android widget should also be resized to a smaller size and be the same size as the actual newsblur app icon, then the total number of unread articles could be shown,like it’s on the whatsapp widget

Not all the android apps have an widget like that.That I’m aware of just whatsapp offers that option.When the widget is resized it shows the total number of unread messages If I’m not wrong.
Maybe inoreader offers a widget like that,with a counter too.
