Why can't you 'mark all as read' for 'All Site Stories' in the browser?

On individual folders and feeds there’s a little checkbox button to ‘mark all as read’, and there’s also a button do this with ‘All Stories’ in the Android apps, but that button isn’t there in the browser for ‘All Site Stories’ (or ‘Global Shared Stories’ or ‘All Shared Stories’). Is this intentional or just an oversight?

Click on the little GEAR at the lower left of the screen, Click on “Mark Everything As Read”. Slide the pointer all the way to the left. Click on “Mark Every Story As Read”. You’re done.

You can hit shift+a (then command+enter) to mark all as read from the all stories view. It’s to prevent you from accidentally marking everything as read.
