What is the "bookmark" like thing in Newsblur?

I don’t know how to explain this because I don’t know what it is, how it works and how to activate it.

Sometimes when I was reading a story if I clicked on the edge between the story list and the story I was reading there was a small arrow icon, I think, that was placed in the position the cursor was.

I always activated it by mistake, and did not know how to remove it or what it did. I believe it was an indicator of where one stopped reading in a story if he wanted to continue later?

Anyway, it’s been some time I was not able to make this '“thing” come again. Is it a feature that was removed?

Any chance you can provide a screenshot? I’m as confused as you are.

It’s a triangular marker looking like this (if it’s the same thing as the person above is referring to):

Even I am curious what it is for. It appears all of a sudden and then is hard to get rid of.

Sorry Samuel, I cannot provide a screenshot as I don’t know how this thing appears and how to control it. I think probably I am referring to what @anon-37641789236 described. If I manage to get this thing somewhere somehow and make a screenshot I’ll post it here
