Good news, this is fixed and will be in version 4.1. I’m working on the release now and hope to submit it to the App Store approval process before this weekend.

I can confirm that this continues to happens in the 4.1 beta.

iPad running 7.1.1: Recreatable in in app browser when maximizing the video.
