In mobile apps/mobile view, because the navigation pane isn’t visible, there’s no way of seeing how many articles remain in a feed. It’d be good if this could be included somewhere.
In Feedly, they implement this as a circular graph containing the number and a circle that fills in as more articles are marked as read (not saying you need to implement it this way, just providing an example for reference).
