Unable to import the Google Takeout file

I exported from Google reader using Google Takeout. This created a ZIP file which I have. When I created the newsblur account I tried to import from this file using the “OPML” file import feature.

This did not work as my RSS feeds were not imported.

Now I can’t even find an “import” option to try again.

How do I import a file created with Google Takeout that contains my Google Reader links?

You’ll need to open up the zip file and use the subscriptions.xml file. Let me know if that works.

Thanks. The problem is I can’t find the import feature. This came up automatically with the wizard when I first opened the account. But now I can’t find it :frowning:

Ahh, it’s under Manage > Import. The manage button is the settings cog in the bottom left.

I’m busy rewritten this dialog as we speak to remove Google Reader and introduce categories, which are editorially chosen sites that you can subscribe to on top of your OPML file’s sites.
