Unable to add blog. Get “This address does not point to an RSS feed or a website with an RSS feed.”

Hit the + button to add a site, and type Bloomberg … a series of RSS items will appear that are legitimate for that website.

None of them are for Megan McArdle specifically; any other ideas?

Bloomberg apparently has no RSS feed for the area you describe. In this case, simply bookmark the forum as a separate URL and use it for your blog interaction.
