since twitter started charging a lot for their api and newsblur had to drop that feature , a workaround i found is nitter : https://github.com/zedeus/nitter/ , ideally you could host an instance and maintain it but if it’s too much work/hassle then maybe contact the maintainers of public instances so they can whitelist newsblur’s ip , or maybe even offer a small compensation so they can offer more reliable service for newsblur users : https://status.d420.de/
X/Twitter doesn’t have the same pull it once did, so people aren’t asking for this anymore. Besides, there are now other services that provide twitter-to-rss, and they aren’t cheap. So I don’t think this will happen on NewsBlur anytime soon.
Count me as someone who wants and would use this in NewsBlur.

i hope the forum can get polls so people can vote on features so that sam knows which features are wanted the most and implement them hopefully
Basically replying here will be that vote.
btw some instances already work fine with newsblur but it’s a hit and miss and they can stop working at any time that’s why my suggestion was more of an optiomal solution
