Twitter feed: How can I exclude replies and retweets when viewing in an external RSS reader like Reeder?

Subject says its all.  

I have tried the “Intelligence Trainer” & thumbs-down the replies but replies still appear in my RSS feed in Reeder and Unread.  Appreciate assistance to get rid of replies & retweets as these limit the utility of this feature

I’ve started to use twitter with newsblur but filtering seems to be non-existent at this point.
I’d like this feature to be implemented as well.

I double checked and reply filtering is working fine for me. Check that you don’t have anything thumbed-up. And what’s the newsblur.com/site/FEED_ID URL of the feed when open on the web?

For some reason ‘thumbs down’ wasn’t removing the replies at all (no refresh).
I confirm it is working now :slight_smile:
