Found the cause of the missing images. TMZ’s feed itself only carries a one-paragraph summary, no pictures. The text and images you were seeing came from NewsBlur loading the full article page for Text view and pulling its lead image for the thumbnail, and TMZ now blocks those article-page requests from our servers the same way it blocked the feed. I’ve wired Text view through the same proxy the feed uses, so the full text and images will come back in the next deploy. Stories already in the feed pick it up the next time you open them in Text view.
