Text size not sticking

I just wiped my phone, Nexus4, and installed the latest Android 4.4, at the same time the Newsblur app got updated so I’m not sure if this is new or some other issue.

I like to set the text size to XS and the setting is kept but it’s not really.

The test size is set to XS but when I open an item the displayed text is really XL. If I do Menu -> Adjust Text Size, XS is what is selected but if I move the slider right then back to XS the displayed text shrinks down to the size I expected it to be when I opened the item.

I ended up having to wipe my phone again this morning and the problem still persists so I believe it’s a bug now.

How I reproduced it.

  1. Did a complete wipe this morning and installed 4.4.
  2. Figured that was a good point to install Newsblur first and see if I still had the issue.
  3. Got a sad face when the problem was still there.

Confirmed. On Nexus 5 (Android 4.4), and text size is not sticking. Rather annoying.
