I’m using the officially hosted Newsblur, and tag filtering kinda broke in early November. For some feeds it doesn’t seem to work at all anymore, for others (e.g. https://aftermath.site/tag/free/rss ) some tags can be filtered, others can’t.
Title filtering still works reliably, so I tried to get by with that, but now got to the point where it’s annoying, hence this report.
Not sure of the cause, but the start of the bug seemed to coincide with the introduction of the new ‘Train & filter’ UI.
I’m using Firefox 146.0.1 on Win10.
Thanks for letting me know! I won’t be able to fix this today but can you tell me your username and the saved story tag that isn’t working? I’m not 100% sure I understand what’s breaking here. Is it possible to show a quick screenshot of where it doesn’t work? That’ll help immensely in getting it working.

So when I go to the feed linked in the OP (set to show newest first) and try to filter the first story via the “events” tag:
I click save training, it says “saving…” and the modal disappears, but the story doesn’t disappear despite feed being set to hide hidden stories. I open up the menu again, and the “events” tag appears unselected again:
On the other hand when I tried to filter another post via the “ice” tag, that worked (I set the feed to show hidden stories to illustrate) :
