Story view kills keyboard shortcuts

Kind of a two-parter, having to do with how frames interact etc.

So I’m reading in “Story” view, and, of course, a story comes up that’s much bigger than the story frame. So I instinctively hit the down-arrow and – poof! – story’s gone, replaced by the next story.

Suggestion: In story view, up and down arrows should scroll the story; j and k should go to the next and previous stories.

Realizing my error, I go back to the story I was interested in and click in the story frame. Now up and down arrows scroll the story as intended… but n, o, j and k do nothing.

Suggestion: These shortcuts should be universal, not dependent on which frame is “active”.

Bonus suggestion: At the very least there should be a visual cue as to which frame is the currently active one.
