Split view not showing stories on load

Lately, split view is not loading correctly for me.

  1. I go to “All site stories” and this is what I see:

I’d expect to see the actual story as well.

  1. To see the stories in split view, I need to switch view mode e.g. to full, and then back to split view after which everything works i.e.

So you’re in Story mode, which is probably being blocked by either your browser (mixed content mode - click on the little lock next to the address bar to enable), or by the website themselves. Click on Feed in the bottom bar to see your stories.

Oh dear. I was not even aware of the different modes. I switched to Feed mode, and everything is ok now. Thanks a lot!
