Some feeds like /Film or How To Geek have any images posted in them displayed twice.
Unfortunately this is my doing but the reason for this is that sometimes feeds won’t have images in the Text view, so if the prominent image from the story isnt found (through text search) in the Text view, then I add the original image to the top. If you check the source of the two images, you’ll notice that the urls are different.
I wish I could figure out a reliable way to de-duplicate these, even if they are coming from different cache locations. Maybe checking the path name vs the image file name?
It would help if you posted the html for those two images so we can compare.
