Site updates suddenly slowed down

I have a site with a moderately high volume of traffic. It has worked fine for several years, updating quite frequently (several times a day). Just recently (on the 20th), it got a 553 error, and has slowed down to less than once a day since then. I don’t know what the typical post volume rate is, but let’s say about 20 per day. The 553 I assume was just a temporary outage that one time.

Anything I can do to investigate this? I control the site feed, so it’s entirely possible I can adjust something in the feed to help newsblur know the update frequency. Will newsblur automatically re-learn how often to update?

Something looks wrong there, it should have automatically moved back up. What’s the https://newsblur.com/site/<feed-id>/ url of the feed?

Thanks! The feed-id is 8516207.

Looks correct to me. If anything it was wrong before, the 500 error forced it to recalculate fetching speed. Free accounts are limited and this is a feed that will benefit from going premium. That should also be listed in the Statistics dialog with the improved fetch times for premium users.

Ohh, you are premium. In that case, yes, something is wrong. I’ll dive deeper.
