Setting splitters position regarding the screen resolution

I’m working on a few computers and one thing makes me quite dizzy: The most of screens are 1920px wide but one is 1366 only.

Could you implement an option to store splitters position with regard to the screen resolution? In 1920px width I’d like to see wider news list whereas under 1366 I want to make it a bit more narrow.

Cheers, thx for an awesome reader!

Good idea, my office monitor is 16:9 but my home monitor is 4:3 (it will be some time before I upgrade my home monitor).

This will have to be a preference, but I’d be game. Let me see if I can work it in.

To be clear, you want per-computer settings for pane splitter positions for both the feed list and story list on the web only.

Mhmm, I think that per browser would be fine. I have different sized taskbars and storing per resolution would not be so efficient.

Good idea. [:

Any news on this issue?

An alternate solution might be an easier option to collapse the feed list with a “hamburger icon” as is becoming more ubiquitous on websites now that so many mobile applications do it.

You can hit ‘shift+u’ to do it today. There used to be an icon, so I suppose I could add it back.

Okay, but it’s not the same, unfortunately. I can’t change the complete panes setup using this feature.

Yeah, it can sometimes be tough to hit Shift+U without a keyboard present…

Ok, I have an odd week next week and I’ll be looking for small one-off features to build. If you make a bit of noise in this thread during the day next week, I might be able to get it shipped.
