I really like the 4.0 update to the iOS app! One thing that would be great is to have the app “mark as read” as I touch-scroll through the list of items. (This could work similar to the website, where there’s a lockable arrow marker to scroll past to mark the item, or it could work where scrolling the item off the view area marks it as read.)

Yeah, I like this idea, too. It’ll be a preference, but it’ll mark stories as read once you scroll past them.
