Reddit changed the feed format from RSS to Atom

The feed filtering option which is available on Newsblur takes the /r/ part of Reddit URLs as a standalone parameter.

Example feed from https://www.reddit.com/r/funny

Old feed: https://i.imgur.com/nV9wQPH.png (only filter option was the sub name)

New feed: https://i.imgur.com/roYqjeB.png (filter options: username, “r”, sub name)

So in the end r and funny became seperate components.

According to the discussion on reddit their XML looks like this:
<category term="funny" label="/r/funny"></category>

My apologies if this is should be its own topic, but it seems that with the new reddit rss stories are also being duplicated, as you can see from the picture below. The feed is http://newsblur.com/site/6211561/the-yogscast.

That’s because of the update. They changed to Atom from RSS yesterday night so a lot of feeds have dupes now. But that was a one time only thing.

Ah thank you, I’m not following anything too active so I did not realise this was just a momentary hiccup. Thanks for the info!
