There’s an image at the top of each post witch isn’t showing up in newsblur.

Interesting catch. It’s not a NewsBlur issue. It’s the blog disabling hot linking of images. I’ve emailed a few other publishers about this before, and they’re all happy to oblige. Just gotta get NewsBlur whitelisted. I emailed them to ask, so if they agree then you should immediately start seeing those images.
