PRE blocks in articles displayed all on one line

Articles which contain ```

``` blocks are displayed (in "feed" mode) with the content of the ```

    ``` all on one line, which is almost always wrong.

I’ve had the same problem as well; looks like line wrapping is entirely disabled in pre elements. (I subscribe to some Gmane e-mail list RSS feeds, and they wrap the entire message content in pre tags, which then produce incredibly long lines on NB.)
