Original view does not work at all for me anymore. I select story button and full button and all I see is this message: “select a story to read” with the gray and white globe. Everything else works fine. Example of website that used to work but now does not: salon.com. Thanks.

You probably upgraded to the latest Firefox. It disables mixed content. You can disable that protection by clicking on the warning on the left side of the address bar.
