I’ve got a worm hole for a rss feed and sometimes when it gets imported the feed name changes. So then I need to change them on your site one by one which would take a long time.
I’d like to left click on a folder and easily edit everything in a nice window. Eventually you are going to need a function like this because sometimes when an opml file is imported and loaded there are a lot of undesirable changes such as a foreign rss feed may show up labelled as a language you don’t understand.
I’ve just renewed my subscription; I thought this would be in by now.
It has been 10 months now since the last post here. Is this still in progress? What is the name of the branch, Samuel? Is it ‘movefeed’ ( https://github.com/samuelclay/NewsBlu… ) or ‘organizer’ ( https://github.com/samuelclay/NewsBlu… ).
Not being able to actually organize my folders/feeds in bulk, *really* restricts and frustrates me.
Yesterday I spent two hours moving feeds, one by one to a new folder. Now that I think about it, It would have been easier to edit the OPML and re-import it… but losing the progress, it’s a no-go.
Also, I’m not sure if I’m missing something but; I know one is now, finally, able to search through feeds for specific articles and expressions, which is good… but, to me it’s way more important to actually search for a specific feed names/metadata itself (feed title/url etc).
Is this not implemented, is it planned for the ‘management view’?
I have hundreds of feeds and it gets really confusing. Sometimes I just want to search to see if I already have it in Newsblur.
If you go up to the main page, ‘home’; you can “Search Sites and People”. I thought this would also search your own lists and that it would tell you if you already have it and WHERE in the tree-structer it’s located. Again, am I missing something, am I supposed to accomplish this by other means or is it something on the road map?
Thank you for your support; I’m really looking forward to see these features implemented.
Ok, Here we are 10 month’s later and the promised management view is still not implemented.
I know you are very busy, however with so many requests why is this feature of being able to move feeds to a desired location been put on hold?
If you make the subscribers happy then maybe some will go to the full paid for subscription. IMO.
Just ranting, keep up the good work.
Sometimes taking a break from a big project really helps to dial you in when you come back to it. Grab some relax time and jam that thing out Samuel Have fun man.
