Every once in a while, I like to run a video at Vimeo in a background tab while browsing through the web. However, opening newsblur.com makes the video stop, forcing me to re-play it manually. I first noticed this problem two or three weeks ago. Before that, everything was fine.
Is it just me?
This behaviour is quite annoying. No news on this at all?
That’s bizarre and I’m not sure that there’s anything NewsBlur can do, since it’s in a different tab and not involved with NewsBlur. Your browser may not be able to open so many instances of Flash.
I’m afraid this has nothing to do with Flash. (Besides, I could and can open quite a few instances of it.) Vimeo uses HTML5 by default, might this be a problem?
Shouldn’t be, but there’s not much I can do with something happening in another tab.
