I have imported my account from google reader, and all the feeds imported correctly. However only 26 of the starred items have moved across as saved items in newsblur. Reimporting doesn’t fix it. Is there anything I can do?

You can check in Focus (Saved Stories).
Not sure what you mean by “in Focus (Saved Stories).”, but, in NB, if I click “saved stories” on the left, I can only see 26 stories, not all the ones I have in google reader.
The way to fix this is to use the dev site. Goto:
click settings icon. choose “import or upload”, choose “google reader starred stories”, follow directions.
May have changed since then, but for me, the Dev site’s importer is better, but still limited to 1000 starred stories.
