After selecting and deselecting the facebook share checkbox in Preferences->Stories->Sharing services ‘share to facebook’-button no longer shows up in the sharing box. Also, none of the other share options are there.
I’ve tried everything I could find, but couldn’t solve this.

Those aren’t the same. That controls Facebook when you right-click a story title. What you want to do is go to Manage > Friends > Connect to Facebook, which will re-enable the Facebook button. I have plans to change this flow a bit.
