FWIW, when I go to “All Site Stories” the latest entry is for 16:57 and it is now 17:09, and there does not appear to be a gap of larger than 15 minutes going several hours back.
Maybe try finding a feed that has updates when viewing the source URL, but does not have updates in NewsBlur? Are you seeing multiple sites where the stats show longer-than-normal fetch times or feed errors?
It does look like the counts in the feed list do not match the actual unread counts in the feed. That might be the problem.
