Gmail says the verification email was sent, but it does not appear in my NewsBlur Newsletters folder.
I have tested adding other forwarding addresses, and those verification emails are received normally immediately , so the issue seems specific to NewsBlur’s receiving address.
Could you please check whether Gmail’s verification email is being blocked or dropped on your end?
I’ve been making a ton of newsletter improvements in trying to fix this issue, but I’m not sure if it’s done. Can you try having Google send the verification again and let me know if that works out and shows up now?
I’ve tried multiple times to have Google resend the verification email to my NewsBlur newsletter address (leogaox-xxx@newsletters.newsblur.com).
The message does arrive in my NewsBlur “Newsletters” folder, but when I open it, the content area is completely blank — there’s no visible text, link, or code. So I’m still unable to complete the Gmail forwarding verification process.
Ok, looks like I deployed a fix four hours after you last received the gmail email. It should be fixed now, so retry and let me know if it comes through. You weren’t the only one who had an issue last week, so I’d love to know if it works now.
