I saw a hack in Newsblur today. A link was inserted into the news page (see link below). I know it’s a hack in Newsblur because if I go to the author’s blog page the hack is not there.

Sorry the screenshot failed here’s a good one. 
It’s not uncommon for hackers to only hack the RSS as the site owner will generally not look at the feed so it will last longer. Or the whole site was hacked and the RSS got missed when the cleaned it up.
Either way, if newsblur got hacked they wouldn’t be dropping links in just one feed.

I just visited the original article at http://claudemariottini.com/the-inher…, and I viewed the page source (CTRL+U in most browsers), and the link does appear in the original article but it is styled to not be visible. It looks like if anything was hacked, it was claudemariottini.com.
