This feed works perfectly well in a browser, but Newsblur recommends changing it.
It has 103 subscribers, apparently. Are they all unhappy?

This works fine for me. It displays content the same way BGR, Engadget, or MacRumors does.
Perhaps a screenshot of why it’s misbehaving or the error message?
Go to Site Settings and you’ll notice that the original page isn’t working.
Is this due to the NYT paywall?
Yes, I think the page fetcher runs into the NYT paywall and thinks that the page isn’t working.
Does it really matter if the original page works or not? I have several feeds where there is no real original page or the page would be inaccessible for NewsBlur, but I don’t consider those feeds misbehaving as long as they can be updated.
No, it really does not matter to me that the page is not retrievable directly. That is kinda the point of my posting. I only care about the RSS feed and don’t use “story” mode.
The feed is available just fine, but Newsblur does not want to show it to me because it thinks it’s misbehaving.
If you have the feed and then click the links in the feed, you can go to the page, even with their paywlall.
Calling this “misbehaving” as NewsBlur does is simply wrong. There is nothing the user can do about fixing this, it’s just the behavior of the site. Deal with it.
I can’t believe that NewsBlur does not want to fetch this and other NYT feeds because it objects to the “normal” behavior of those feeds.
Ken –
I’m confused. I’ve got a couple of NYT feeds in my NewsBlur account. The feed mode fetches just fine. Yes, it shows up as “misbehaving” if I click on the arrow next to the link, but other than that it works just fine.
I even just tried the feed you posted about (NYT Obituaries) and it works just fine in “feed” mode, except for the “misbehaving” message. Are you saying that it doesn’t work in feed mode for you?
When referring to broken feeds, please always offer me the NewsBlur URL of the site when you open the site. Then I can go in and see the exact site you’re talking about.
