New user questions-- Mark as Read and Opening articles in new window

Hi
I have just started testing out NewsBlur after being a long time FeedDemon user. I have a couple of questions.

  1. Is there any way to add the option to “Mark As Read” after clicking from one site to the next? FeedDemon did this and saves me from having to double click the feed count each time I move from one site to the next one.

  2. I saw the option to “open in new window” for articles that I click on, but that seems to only open a new tab. I’m using chrome. Is there a way to get it to open a new window instead of a tab and then any additional articles open in that second window? I would like to keep the NewsBlur tab on one window and any subsequent articles in a second window if that makes sense.
