It would be helpful a ‘view individual feed’ feature in the mobile app, as opposed to just having all articles in one big all stories list. I don’t read every article on every site I watch every day. Naturally this is very easy to do via the website.

You can already do this on the mobile app, at least the iOS app. I believe they call them folders.
I should have said Android specifically. I don’t see anything folder-y in it.

You need to setup the folder in the web app. After that you’ll likely need to clear data/cache for the Android app. Then your folders should appear in the Android app.
