Mixed content warnings on comic images feed when using https

I’m on https://newsblur.com and many comic RSS feeds are no longer loading images. Examples include SMBC, Wondermark, and Dinosaur Comics.

It looks like I’m getting mixed content warnings in the console.

Example warnings:

Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.newsblur.com/folder/comics’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://scarygoround.com/strips/20150701.png’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.
comics:1 Mixed Content: The page at ‘https://www.newsblur.com/folder/comics’ was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure image 'http://www.lunarbaboon.com/storage/Comicanything.png?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1435758988723’. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

I’m not sure if there’s any way to override the mixed content warnings to make the images appear?

There is! If you use Chrome or Firefox you can turn off mixed content warnings. Google “turn off mixed content warnings firefox/chrome” and you’ll see. It’s usually in some deep preference or by clicking on the lock icon in the address bar.
