I would like the option to mark hidden stories as read please. RSS apps do not always honor the hidden feature when they provide Newsblur support. If they do, some apps only honor the hidden feature for new stories, but if it’s pulled down stories already it doesn’t retroactively remove them.
Hidden stories are actively removed in third party clients. They have to include an ‘include_hidden’ in the request to get them. The first class newsblur apps all do so they can show a “show hidden stories” button, but no third party client does.
Oh you want those clients to hide read stories based on new training after the stories are read? Well, the official clients do this, so that’s my recommendation
