sometimes I will frequently skim to the bottom of a long post, and mark it as unread for later reading depending on the content. However - if you can’t see the top titlebar of an individual post, you can’t see the read/unread status change. It would be nice to have some sort of indicator to provide feedback at the bottom of the post, as you have with saving posts

Well, I assume you’re in List view or Full view. You can switch to Split view to get that ability. But otherwise, I’m not sure how to notify you of saving and mrking as read/unread.
I was in list view. I hadn’t noticed missed split view, but that looks like it should work! Sorry to bother you.
