Manually save any URL in saved stories

I’d love to use Newsblur as a replacement for Pocket, for example. I would save articles as well as YouTube videos. I’d watch interesting YouTube channels on Newsblur, save the ones that stood out, and then watch them later on NewPipe from any device.

The problem is that I can only save stories that are in an RSS feed. I’d like to be able to manually add a video or article URL to my saved stories to watch later.

I’ve been using pocket for this for years, but I understand they’ve removed RSS feeds for saved items for new users, and probably only a matter of time for the RSS feed I use to save items in newsblur will be removed.

That being said, I support this feature request! :slight_smile:

You can already do this! Use the bookmarklet (NewsBlur) on any site and you can save it directly to a tag.
