I’m wondering if there is a way to manually fetch a specific feed I’m subscribed to? Or change settings so that the feed is only fetched when I open the Newsblur app (ipad). There is one site I am subscribed to whose admins are very picky that their site doesn’t get fetched too often. It is a private site that gives subscribed users their own specific feed url. They have stopped allowing my newsblur feed url to access, citing that it fetches too frequently. Any way to change fetch times?
If the publisher is providing rate limits that NewsBlur can read, then NewsBlur automatically backs off. I think its up to the publisher to do so if they want to control the fetch behavior of feed fetchers.
