A difference I’ve found between the web and the MacOS app, is the (in-)ability to leave a feed by pressing Esc
. On the web, hitting Esc
will go back to a home page, and feels like a nice way to finish a session of reading articles, with the ability to click back into a feed later to see what’s new.
The MacOS app has a starting blank ‘select a feed’ page on launch, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to get back out of a feed once finished reading, other than selecting a different feed.
The stats and ‘what’s new’ on the web home page are nice touches, and would be great to have same/similar on a MacOS app home page too, reachable by hitting Esc
from a feed view.
