Yes, it does feel like some damaged file, but I can’t think of any other location. The app is sandboxed, so all data are in the two container folders. The ~/Library/Containers/NewsBlur container folder is actually located at ~/Library/Containers/com.newsblur.NewsBlur if you use Terminal; the Finder hides the details, just displaying it as NewsBlur.
