I like the tweak of just chopping off the words in long feed names vs smashing them into the feed counts and ellipsing it off!

Aww, why thank you! To tell you the truth, I would be adding ellipses if it were easier, as I do on the iOS app. But I liked the way whole words would get chopped off and stuck with it. CSS3 nowadays could make the ellipses pretty easy to use.
