Let me block individuals from global shared stories

I’d like the ability to block other users so i dont see their shared stories or comments

Ability to block people

I hear you and I’m planning to build this feature. The issue is that right now I’m deep in an infrastructure overhaul, moving the site from python 2 and django 1.11 to python 3 and django 3.1. I don’t have the bandwidth to also add a feature like muting users. But I’ll get to it soon after. Just to confirm, muting a user (which you’ll be able to do from their profile) means that you don’t see their shares in the Public Comments section. They can still reply to you though, so you’ll want to swit…

but in the mean time:

Train feeds based on sharing user.

You should be able to accomplish what you want. Open the user’s blurblog, right-click on that feed, then go to the trainer. You can train directly on user’s blurblogs. It’s just not exposed at the story level.

I did not see the mute button in the android app but I see it on the desktop browser view, thanks!

After muting, i am still seeing this persons shared stories in the global shared stories feed.

In that case I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what a user’s blurblog is, how to open it, or how to open the trainer.
