It would be great if we could add keywords to our system so that certain topics (like “Kardashian”) won’t appear on our feed but other items from our favorite feeds will.

This has been discussed a few times before. I have no plans to support global keyboards for the simple reason that it is not only rare that keywords span more than a handful of sites, but it would unnecessarily complicate the UI, having to distinguish between local and global.
