VERY TRUE. I remember a site had posted how it was a good thing google was leaving the service, and one of the reason was that they had abandoned the service and not in any way active building and improving the service. It mentioned how the market will now open for new services with far better features and new look. NB has been the a prime example of that. Outstanding

Same! Being able to load an item’s page in the reader (i.e. story view, rather than feed view) is SUCH a killer feature if you read a lot of web comics.

Same indeed. I’ve made friends through Google Reader’s long-gone social interaction ability and I’m so happy to have that functionality back!
