iPad: Opening a folder auto-opens first story

This behavior started with v11

When opening Newsblur iOS app (when it was previously closed), it automatically opens the “all site stories” feed, and makes the “active item” the first item in the feed, which for me also marks it as “read”.

Also, when clicking/opening a feed… it puts the “active item” to first item in feed, and for me, marks it as “read”

I actually hate this behavior for various reasons… Could an option be introduced to not do this? Which would be similar to how it was in v10 of Newsblur iOS app

Yes, we added this as the default for the iPad. You can turn it off under Settings and it’ll go back to the original behavior.
