iPad App Version 15 Strange New Behaviors

The iPad app has some new “features” that negatively impact productivity:

  1. Previously on the stories pane, you could use the up/down arrows on the Magic Keyboard to see the previous/next story. Now the up/down arrows show the previous/next feed. Most users want to review the stories in a single feed. This should be the default or there should be a way to tell the app you’re in the stories pane.
  2. When scrolling through an article, it does not stop at the end, instead, it takes you to the next article. Not good. I want to advance to the next article using the stories pane. See above.

Ok, arrow key navigation is fixed for 15.0.1. For scrolling past the article’s end, check the horizontal/vertical control in story settings. Horizontal mode stops at the bottom and is the original setting. You may have changed it to veritcal mode?
